Do Not Buy Into The Free Data!! Tag Mobile Is A Scam

I provided all of the documents and was approved and all of a sudden 1 month later my phone just shuts down service wise. I talked to Sandra who also came across as either not trained correctly or just a scammer but she couldnt tell me why it was canceled when at first they said i was approved.

I am disabled i receive snap and medical and i have barely any income(way under the limit) Trust me when it sounds to good to be true they are not lying it is too good to be true. T mobile was the main carrier and I have had them in the past and Tag Mobile in not a T-Mobile Sub. No way I don't care what they say. Anyway stay away from them.

I should have listened to the hundreds of complaints but i didn't i took the bait and learned my lesson. Hope this helps

I totally agree with everyone. This company is the worst.

I paid for the unlimited plan and it took 7 days for them to start it. Customer service was no help at all. I asked for my money back and was denied. Calls drop all the time.

The data doesn't work. This company shouldn't be in business.

when you call tag customer service you're talking to someone in the Philippines and they speak fast but I was even trying to listen to what the problem is you on hold forever the courteous and polite but so what when I got my tag mobile phone it wasn't even a smartphone and this is last year 2015 so now at renewal if they don't send me a smartphone I was just go with another carrier I did manage to get an unlocked phone and insert the SIM card call tag and get to settings for the data to work that was the best thing you did but I had to do it a few times other than that their customer service is below average the equipment Phones at the time I got minewas really unacceptable was really unacceptable met is that was supposed to do but who cares about that when you have to call every other week about your service

One minute conversation with one of the representatives on the street. My question what does it mean by unlimited data how much do I actually get? their answer. Oh it's 50 gigabytes so that's why we call it unlimited! Me: that's not unlimited have a nice day.

I should have known having unlimited data, text, and talk for free was too good to be true. Iavimited data usage for only the first 2 weeks, I've had the service for 3 months. I can't seem to reach anyone thatnd how to remedy this Error Code 67. my phone isn't etup to my voicemail - touching voicemail gives me an error message. And the phone is now falling apart.

Search on the internernet for the error code at android forums. That is what i had to do solve a similar problem.

I am sorry if this does not help you, but i too find that the support at TAG is worthless. There is really no support, it's just worthless.

If you fully qualify for free phone service according to FCC guidelines and the phone they send you doesn't work or can't get a network connection, they will tell you to buy a phone. They are in fact violating the whole purpose of lifeline assistance to qualifying customers. They should be investigated for not following FCC guidelines and mistreating customers when complaining about defective equipment.

I as a tag mobile customer have endured,my 1st phone, an HTC,have the data turned off after 3wks.( i had used 7.98 gigs of data). So i call and say to the rep " its obviously not unlimited.So after directing the conversation, asking to speak to somebody up the ladder since this rep didnt have the answer,being put on hold momentarely a few times,all while being cordial,professional,and complememting their effort,was told that 8gb is the limit.

Was told that any unlocked gsm phone will accept their sim card(TRUE). ILL admit the reps are just reading what there told to read in response to a?. But being nice and directing the conversation towards what your problem is,even if you have to cut them off mid sentence, should get a problem solved. Remember that this is FREE UNLIMITED TALK,TEXT,AND 8GB OF DATA.

BE THANKFUL NOT PICKY. Want better service pay for it.

Tag mobile Reps pushy for SSI # before asking 2 simple questions BS TagBag

I just called the support line seem's there website is unprotected with all browser's , Sending your SSL on your SSI paper work would be not a good idea, After speaking with a rep he was really pushing my name and SSI # before answering a few easy questions, plus asked me for my phone # and told me it was not a valid # I asked him do you have caller ID he told me once again the # was not valid and i called him from the same phone # i gave him ? And started to ask once again my name and SSI # ? BS The way this Rep handled this made me feel i was being scammed ! Sounds to goos to be true good but with rep's like that be aware of this free service.

I submitted a Veteran's benefit letter as proof of income. I was sent an email from Bob Wilson stating that this was not an acceptable form of income. On their application form under "for office use only" it clearly states that the VA Benefit letter is an acceptable form of proof of income. It is also a common form of proof of income If the employees processing these forms are so poorly trained that they do not know what forms are allowed for proof of income, then thanks for rejecting my application. I cannot imagine how many other problems I would have encountered with a company that fails to train its employees in the most fundamental matters. yes I'm Tag mobile customer I have a HTC Evo 4G and I'm having problems with customer service when I first got the phone the phone will not download and I talked to HTC Company would you do diagnostics on it they told me the phone was no good to get another phone so I called Tag mobile I gave my ticket number from HTC Company and I have not heard nothing back from them about that the USB port is broken phone can charge the phone and now we're on for 9 at 2016 it deactivated my phone and sent me a message saying I've been tagged as an abuser of data I turned my phone off and deactivated it and no worries I will talk to supervisor manager is whatever and they just trying to have me send the money to get another phone whenever whatever else they were considering to do at this company needs to have a class action lawsuit for them

I fail to understand what customers are complaining about. I ran around talking to and even trying a few lifeline companies. It was like a huge nightmare. I have special needs and the phones they send you for lifeline are almost unusable for me, worse still most won't let you get a phone that IS suitable and bring it in, even if it is compatible with the towers they use. You're just stuck. A month into waiting for another company to get around to approving me and sending me a phone I just decided to divert and try Tag Mobile as a last resort. I'm thrilled I did. They said it could be a month before I got a phone. Pffttt, one week is all it took. I was shocked. But maybe that had to do with me being an already approved transfer. Then I purchased a phone that is appropriate to my needs and matches with the towers they use....I put the SIM card in and it has worked like a charm and I can actually use it. I wasn't getting the promised data time...the phone just was getting nothing. I called and they had a solution for that too...an app that installs the proper APN information. Fixed me up with data in less than a minute. So last night I got sick of the internet phone co that has my phone number I've had for years and now that I have service I decided to move that number over to TAG mobile and cancel the internet phone as it doesn't really work all that well anyway. Mind you this was a Saturday night. They took possesion of it by Sunday night and now I'm just waiting for a new SIM card for my number to be sent over so my phone can identify to it- I already have voicemail access and have set voicemail up to tell people where to call until I get the card The people are always kind and courteous...yes they can have kind of thick accents sometimes but generally it is not too bad. They even, grins, tend to call me "miss Paula" which, for city people, is the country/southern way of showing respect when addressing a woman...so rare where I live. I have to smile every time and I'm grateful for that itty bit of country courtesy in my world that day. I can't venture to say what their business practices are with their business associates but I hope it is not as bad as it sounds here. A company cannot prosper if they are doing things like described and I want them to be successful and be around a long time. If something happens to them I just don't know what I'll do...I'm pretty much unable to use the other companies due to disability related special needs. No, I'm not an employee, I am a customer in California, a customer who went through the ringer calling all and trying some of the other companies available in my area trying to find exactly what TAG mobile provides me. I've been all over the place tearing my hair out along the way till them. I'm most grateful. As long as they can continue to provide me the same service as I've had this far, I'm not going ANYWHERE else. I'm just glad I am in and set up before the masses get wind of what they're missing by not being with TAG mobile...then the waits to be enrolled WILL be more substantial.

i had tag mobile in march , cancelled me , I was told that I need to reapply I did everything was find this was in june 25th , was told to call back in 10 days I did, I was told in the meantime I can use my old phone yeah right Not? , I called again middle of july the run around again .

no phone no service told me by the rep it find . I can use my old phone, right i tried, no service , I called again , still the run around this was in the end of july still no service , I called life line everything was find,told me , I need to reapply again I did on the phone, still the same thing, this been going on for 4 months , I called again my temper was up , I am up to any ideas regarding this matter should I talk to a lawyer or just go to a other service ,

Tag Mobile Phone Service Review

They insisted they were having technical issues and were unable to port my phone number in from another carrier for almost a month. So I had to get another number. Then tried to port that number out and the same thing happened. They shut off my phone during the port process so I couldn't take my number. They are a crooked and very technically deficient company.
